• The idea -
  was, to find a place, where one is not only consuming 'anonymous', but living at - and with the place! One, that gives enough space/roam and possibilities to people for living - sharing ceremonies and seasonal feasts and to get a little bit closer to the Earth Mother!                                     

• The searching -
  after being guests in the 'Wendland' (a certain area in the northeastern part of the federal-state 'lower saxony') for many times, the county became more intimate to us as our home in Hamburg. So finaly we start searching for a house here. Around April/May of '91 we found the 'object of desire' and we were driving down to that place again and again to get in 'contact'. Sun Bear, Moon Deer and Beth as well as some other people visited the place (thanks to the neighbors, who were willing to pass over the key for the house to everyone!) and by the time the true feel- ing arise, that it will be allright. Mid-august, we moved into our new home!

• Years -
  shortly after that, more than 60 adults and children showed up to celebrate a common new-season greeting -- together we built a Medicinewheel! In the following months we built one, later a second ('family'-)Sweatlodge. With the help of our guests we set up an 'Earthmound', that symbolical invited us to honor the Earth Mother and to gave thanks for her gifts, that she offer to the whole creation. For a period of time we lived and worked with people from the Netherlands -- guests from other parts of Germany, the Switzerland and Yugoslavia had been here for a while and supported us. We were going through personal changes and we celebrated many, many weekends and programs with hundreds of people during the years. We were honored by the presence of   WALLACE BLACK ELK,  BETH Rhiannon, WOPTURA,  MOON DEER,  MANITONQUAT,   JUDY Morning Star,  WABUN, NICOLAI,  INGE,  OSHY Standing Bear,  ELLIKA,  RAVEN,  THUNDERBIRD WOMAN,  MARIE-LUISE,  HERMANN,  and, of course: RUDI!
  We were honored by those, who went into the Sweatlodge before they start drumming for the Earth Mother dur- ing 4 days and nights -- and blessings were given from those who went out from this place, to pray for a vision -- from the women -- from the children (specifically those, who started their life-circle on the Earth Mother at that time!) -- from the STORIES -- from those, who walked upon their path as a water-pourer, as well as from the people, who felt connected to the family.     

• A legacy? -
  after searching for almost a year, we found a new, nice place in spring '97 -- time was there for a change.
  (It took a while to realize, that it was the place who yearned for our - and our visitors/participants healing energy!)
  The path had grown to be our own one, after we began as apprentices of Sun Bear - the connection to the Earth Mother and creation deeply rooted inside. Like the need to share all the gifts, we received -- the 'being touched' became deeply rooted as well. To let people participate - to offer the possibilities of becoming acquainted with and to get in 'contact'. So again, we were blessed with a ground of about 5000qm, surrounded by fields only:  space for a Sweatlodge, for a Medicinewheel,  for a Moon- lodge, an Earthmound -- space for many tents, for (vegetable)beds and a lot of 'roam' to allow vegetation and its connected animal-life to be in the own rhythm.  A female dog and a male cat joined into our life -- around late fall the deers enjoy our curly kale - as hundreds of snails 'enjoy' realy
  everything, they find on their way. We found something that was growing inside of us - caused as well by the many meetings, we had with some northamerican Natives: the elemental expression (and the vulnerablity) of being-one through 'sacred acting' --  the maintaining and carrying of TRADITIONS -- the acknowledge of varying and the HONORING of single persons heart-energy. In times, where we can reach out for 'things' that had been un- reachable before, it is very tempting to claim on all possibilities.  A special attention is needed to keep the roots of that in the own conciousness and in the own heart -- 'cause the (spiritual) POWER is a result out of the roots, but not out of pure acting. The ability, to 'listen' to the OLD ONES - the ancestors, to accept their heritage (being
  able to accept)... to carry the power forward and therefor, acting in a sacred manner!

• Changes -
  are omnipresent! One traumatic event (specifically for the ones, who are directly affected!)   is 'chased' by the next ---    but nevertheless: these events had been announced and forcasted by different sources!     Apart from real -sympathizing- dismay, it is a little bit surprising to find "all circles" being shocked. These events had been announced. It was (and it is) the understanding as a process of cleansing that happen on the Earth Mother.
  But to be on the safe side: In NO CASE, we want to be disparaging about the personal tragedy of a human person -- the fear, the mourning, the pain and the loos! We can not explain those actions and decisions, certain people are making.. we can not understand the consequences (sorrow). Even though there is no comfort or help, these actions - these events could be seen as a healing-process -- similiar to the homeopathic therapie, where the healing seems to be a deterioration first! Probably, we're not able to convince any terrorist to honor the will to live of other people... probably, we're not able to change the minds of high decorated managers from powerplant- combines, industry-combines and meanwhile.. those from the food-industry to convince them to find different priorities for their success... probably, there is almost no benefit to remind that high idealistic -earth- and human-
  right oriented- politicians of their motivation that guided them on their path, while -as it seems today- they don't know anything about the existence of this path. But on an individual level - right by our ownselfs, we can begin to trust in the fact that we are guided (if we're not already practising?!) ! We do have the ability to make the trust into the leading and guidance to our own, if our thinking, our action, our sacred acting comes right out of our heart... if we do not search for someone, who's making everything 'better'... if we do not look for the one, who's more popular, more successful... if we understand very clearly, that the sacred actions (and of course, not only
  those from the northamerican Natives!) were suitable to humans and communities (partly over periods of thou- sands of years), to show a path that kept (is keeping) alive the connection to the whole creation in consciousness as well as in the alldays busyness. We can imagine that our ancestors (physical and mental/spiritual) keep 'an eye' on us -- to push us a little bit, to perceive this real changes, to acknowledge them and to realize that neither resig- nation nor ignorance lead us to a fulfilled life, but our growing understanding may bring us upon a path, where we receive the legatimacy of being here and stay as humans within this great togetherness!

• "walk in beauty" -
  Again and again we met people, from whom we could learn. We met them because we received the information and were able to decide, if it could be good for us to see them. We were thankful for the information, because it helped us to walk forward on our path. No one of this persons had been a "guru". In different ways we found our- selfs encouraged to follow our own path - to follow our own heart! So we adopt this kind of acting. Of course, we are not able to tell anyone, what is good, what is right, what is appropriate etc.  But we can show ourselfs .. we can invite you to participate (to look at) what is important and right for US... so you can listen and feel inside of you, if you get TOUCHED by that, what we can share with you.  Then, it'll be possible that we walk a piece of that path together -- then, it'll be possible that we offer all the things, we learned by ourselfs before -- to reach the point, where we bless YOUR PATH - with the request and wish to WALK IN BEAUTY!
